A 2-year-old woman is dead after authorities stated her sibling backed a vehicle onto her in southeast Houston.
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK)– A 2-year-old woman is dead after authorities stated she was struck while her sibling was leaving a parking area in southeast Houston on Saturday evening.
According to the Houston Authorities Division, the case took place right before 10 p.m. at an apartment building on the 7900 block of Leonora.
Authorities stated the family members was dumping their grocery stores while the 2-year-old woman and one more brother or sister were playing. Throughout that time, the woman went out right into the parking area. At the very same time, the policeman stated the woman’s older sibling entered into the car and backed out, striking her.
HPD stated member of the family attempted making help to the girl. She was required to Texas Kid’s Medical facility, where she caught her injuries.
Authorities included they examined the vehicle driver, that is thought to be in his very early 20s, and discovered he was not intoxicated. An examination “recommends this was all a dreadful case,” authorities stated.
