GALVESTON, Texas (KTRK)– A sinking in Galveston declared the life of a 49-year-old male from Oregon overnight, according to Galveston Island Coastline Patrol.
A lifeguard working supposedly saw the male battling in a no-swimming location beside a rock groin at 39th Road, according to the coastline patrol.
Authorities stated that the male was located subconscious in the water near 39th and Seawall on Saturday.
Coastline patrol claims he was taken by ground rescue to the injury facility at UTMB Wellness’s John Sealy Medical facility, where he later on was noticable dead while being dealt with.
The male’s fatality notes the very first deadly sinking on a Galveston coastline this year.
