LOUISVILLE, Ky.– NBC Sports host Mike Tirico claimed on social media sites he dislikes being a “late scrape” from Saturday’s 151st Kentucky Derby as a result of a “substantial” nut allergy response throughout protection of the marquee race at Churchill Downs.
Ahmed Fareed took control of protection for the professional broadcaster, that was set up to host protection of the initial gem of equine auto racing’s Three-way Crown for the nine time. Tirico left the fabled track in late mid-day and went back to his resort, an NBC Sports representative claimed.
Tirico described the allergic reaction on his main account on X and included that, “If you have one you understand just how it can knock you down.”
He said thanks to Churchill Downs for their treatment in addition to network equine auto racing associates Randy Moss, Jerry Bailey, Fareed and his “Syracuse fam” for tipping up “to do a fantastic work.”
