KERVILLE, Texas (KTRK)– A teenager is recouping in the health center after he made it through the tragic Hillside Nation floodings that brushed up away his home and his family members, that he really hopes will certainly lie quickly.
Leo Romero Jr. informed San Antonio associate KSAT that he had not seen his papa, stepmother, or his two-year-old sibling given that 6 a.m. on July 4, when he stated he listened to water.

” I might listen to water under me. it had not been within yet,” Ramos stated.
He states he got up his family members to signal them, and they started to reach the greater ground and attempt to avoid the water from coming within. The family members utilized what they might to obstruct the water, such as boxes and tables.
” My father simply attempted to cover where the moving door was with anything– boxes or the table, yet it simply maintained relocating. We believed possibly we would certainly still be alright, yet water began coming very quickly from the vents.”
The teenager states his papa informed them to jump on the sofa and hang on to the drapes as he lifted his two-year-old airborne.
Ramos states the following minute he kept in mind was when their residence gave in, striking him on the head. He states he struck a great deal of debris and trees attempting to hang on, yet the present hurried him away.
