CLEMSON, S.C.( AP)– Clemson pass receiver Bryant Wesco Jr. was hospitalized after touchdown awkwardly on his neck after obtaining turned airborne on a punt return in the 3rd quarter of Saturday in a 35-24 loss to SMU.
Clemson trainer Dabo Swinney explained the injury as “significant,” yet did not specify on Wesco’s problem.
Swinney later on asked at his press conference that followers maintain Wesco in their petitions, repeating the significant nature of the injury.
The group attracted a cumulative wheeze when Wesco competed up the center of the area after fielding a punting and was struck reduced, triggering him to turn high airborne and arrive on his neck. The neck curved awkwardly as he struck the ground.
Nonetheless, Wesco jumped right up and showed up great as he ran to the sideline without getting any kind of clinical interest on the area.
Wesco was considered on the sideline by fitness instructors. He did not go back to the video game.
It had not been revealed that he had actually been carried to the medical facility up until Swinney made the news after the video game.
Bryant had 31 catches for 537 lawns and 6 goals entering the video game, yet did not have a catch Saturday. ___
