DALLAS — Heisman Trophy winner and versatile two-way player Travis Hunter has reportedly joined Lil Wayne’s sports agency, Young Money APAA Sports, which is said to be headquartered in Dallas.
The agency, founded in 2017 by the five-time Grammy Award-winning rapper in partnership with CEO and co-founder Adie von Gontard, is detailed on their official website.
Hunter’s choice to partner with Lil Wayne’s sports agency isn’t surprising, considering their well-known association. Lil Wayne was among Hunter’s guests at the Heisman ceremony, along with his fiancée, mother, Coach Deion Sanders, and teammate Shadeur Sanders.
During his Heisman acceptance speech, Hunter even gave a nod to Lil Wayne, mentioning that he listens to his music before every game.
