MINNEAPOLIS— A hearing where a Minnesota male was anticipated to beg guilty to concealing a taken set of ruby sandals that Judy Garland put on in “The Wizard of Oz” was delayed forever Wednesday after his lawyer informed the court that the male is hospitalized.
united state Area Court Patrick Schiltz gave the continuation at the demand of the lawyer for Jerry Hal Saliterman, 77, of Crystal, that was intending to transform his appeal to guilty at a hearing that was set up for this coming Friday.
Defense legal representative John Edge claimed Saliterman was hospitalized Jan. 3 “for lack of ability to stroll and blood poisoning,” an infection that can be serious. He composed that Saliterman continued to be hospitalized Wednesday which medical professionals do not understand when he will certainly be offered. Federal district attorneys did not object.
Saliterman attended his accusation Monday by means of video clip from what appeared like a medical facility area.
