REIMS— A grieving event was held Saturday in Reims in eastern France to recognize Sebastião Salgado, the well known Brazilian digital photographer and ecologist that passed away Friday at 81.
As his widow, Lélia Wanick Salgado, and their boys, Juliano and Rodrigo, participated in the opening of an art exhibit including the job of Rodrigo, the celebration became a homage to the late musician.
” There are numerous points I bear in mind regarding Sebastiõ,” stated Salgado’s widow. “He was a really vibrant individual. He liked life.”
