PARIS— Oscar champion Marion Cotillard and actor-director Guillaume Canet revealed their splitting up Friday after 18 years and 2 kids with each other, separating a power connection of French movie theater.
Cotillard won an Academy Honor in 2008 for her efficiency as the famous French vocalist Edith Piaf in “La Vie en Rose” and is just one of France’s best-known celebrities worldwide. She starred with Brad Pitt worldwide Battle II charming thriller “Allied” and Leonardo DiCaprio in “Beginning.”
Canet has acting, routing and movie script credit histories and played in “The Coastline” with DiCaprio.
The 49-year-old Cotillard and 52-year-old Canet starred with each other in the French-Belgian movie “Love Me If You Risk” in 2003, an advancement box-office hit in France for her.
They started dating in 2007.
They revealed their splitting up in a declaration to the Agence France-Presse information firm that claimed they made the split public “to prevent all supposition, reports and high-risk analyses.”
It did not offer a factor yet claimed they were dividing by “usual accord” and with “shared a good reputation.”
France-based representatives for Cotillard and Canet did not reply to e-mails from The Associated Press.
