JEFFERSON REGION, Texas (KTRK)– An examination right into a commercial crash is underway after 3 employees were eliminated and 2 were harmed in Port Arthur at an early stage Tuesday.
The Jefferson Area Constable’s Workplace states the event, including Bechtel workers, took place at around 2 a.m. at the Port Arthur LNG website at 3570 S. Gulfway.
Authorities stated “some sort of problem took place that created the scaffolding to pave the way, leading to 3 workers being up to the ground.”
Two of those 3 employees were noticable dead at the scene, the constable’s workplace stated. The 3rd was required to the health center and passed away.
Deputies stated 2 various other workers that were still on the scaffolding were harmed and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
” We are deeply saddened to verify a storage tank dive kind system event took place at altitude on April 29 at the Port Arthur LNG building website, leading to 3 casualties and 2 injuries.
