ARLINGTON, Texas– The wild card-chasing Texas Rangers placed having a hard time slugger Adolis García on the 10-day hurt checklist Wednesday due to a sprained left ankle joint, and turned on outfielder Evan Carter after he missed out on 10 video games due to back convulsions.
Texas made the steps with both outfielders prior to their collection ending versus the Arizona Diamondbacks.
One more outfielder, Wyatt Langford, was held up of the schedule due to lower arm rigidity, yet supervisor Bruce Bochy claimed he can be offered to pinch-hit.
García is striking.224 with 16 homers and 64 RBIs in 116 video games. He struck.176 (6 for 34) throughout the nine-game homestand that finished with Wednesday’s video game.
Carter, that transforms 23 later on this month, remained in a 4-for-34 depression when he was positioned on the IL on Aug. 2. He struck.238 with 4 homers and 21 RBIs in 55 video games prior to after that.
