DALLAS– The SMU Mustangs are readied to recognize an 11-year-old Kid’s Wellness person that has actually fought cancer cells over the previous 2 years.

During the Mustangs’ springtime football ending on April 25, football gamers will certainly wear a custom-made headgear developed by Trevor, an 11-year-old that was identified with cancer cells in 2022 after a CT check exposed a lump in his mind.

According to Kid’s Wellness, Trevor went to the healthcare facility once a week for radiation treatment therapies for 2 years, all while continuing to be favorable and daring. Kid’s Wellness stated that Trevor had the ability to sound the bell in September 2024, signifying completion of his chemotherapy therapy.

This notes the 3rd successive year the SMU football group will certainly use a headgear developed by a Kid’s Wellness person, recognizing the strength and valor of young people encountering severe clinical obstacles.

According to SMU, Trevor’s style was with one voice chosen by student-athletes after a ballot, making his vision the standout selection for this year’s springtime football homage.
