    Texas flooding: Gov. Abbott proclaims July 6 as ‘Day of Petition’

    AUSTIN, Texas – Gov. Greg Abbott has actually stated July 6 as a “Day of Petition” in the middle of the disastrous floodings affecting Central Texas.
